Responsive Call to Worship: From Revelation 19
Leader: Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments.
All: Amen, Hallelujah!
Leader: Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!
All: Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!
Prayer of Adoration
Hymn of Praise: Hymnal #439 Christ Shall Have Dominion
We Confess Our Sin
Responsive Call to Confession: Psalm 32: 1 – 6
Leader: Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit.
All: When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.
Leader: Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found.
Silent Confession of Sin
Corporate Prayer of Confession:
All: Almighty Father, we enter your presence confessing the things we try to conceal from You and the things we try to conceal from others. We confess the heartbreak, worry, and sorrow we have caused that make it difficult for others to forgive us. We have failed to love others as You love us. We have not exalted You above all else. We cling to the sins that entangle, rather than accepting the freedom You offer us by Your grace. Forgive us and have mercy on us. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Assurance of Pardon: Psalm 103: 8 – 12
Leader: The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love. He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
