All: I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
Leader: The Lord sits enthroned forever; he has established his throne for justice, and he judges the world with righteousness; he judges the peoples with uprightness.
All: Sing praises to the Lord, who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds!

We Confess Our Faith

We Confess Our Sin
Call to Confession: Adapted from Hebrews 4: 14 – 16
Leader: Remember that our Lord Jesus can sympathize with us in our weakness, since in every respect he was tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with boldness approach the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Let us confess our sins against God and against our neighbor.
Silent Confession of Sin
Corporate Prayer of Confession:
All: Heavenly Father, this world is so broken. The earth groans as in the pains of child birth and so do our own hearts. Out of the depths we cry to You. We recognize that we each bring our own mistakes, our own selfishness, and our own sin to add to the seemingly unbearable pain of the world. Oh Lord, hear our voices and let Your ears be attentive to our cry for mercy – for ourselves and for the world. With You, there is forgiveness. Therefore, we wait in the sure hope of Your unfailing love, knowing that You redeem us from all our sins. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
Assurance of Pardon: Titus 3:4-7
Leader: But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
Hymn of Assurance: Hymnal #253 There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

All: Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!
Leader: Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy.
All: His mercy endures forever!
Leader: Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
All: And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare His works with rejoicing.
Leader: Oh, that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men!
All: Let them exalt Him also in the congregation of the people, and praise Him in the assembly of the elders. O give thanks unto the Lord for He is good; for His mercy endures forever!
