Responsive Call to Worship: Colossians 1: 15 – 18, Philippians 2: 9 – 11; Revelation 19: 16
Leader: Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
All: He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Leader: And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
All: He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Leader: Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name
All: He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Leader: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
All: He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Leader: And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
All: He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Prayer of Adoration
Hymn of Praise: Hymnal #295 Crown Him With Many Crowns
We Confess Our Sin
Call to Confession: Romans 6: 4
Leader: We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Trusting in the grace that God has shown us through Christ Jesus our Lord, let us confess our sin.
Silent Confession of Sin
Corporate Prayer of Confession:
All: Most gracious and loving Heavenly Father, in response to Your great mercy, we confess that we have sinned and fallen short of the people You created us to be. We have acted in selfish ways, we have hurt one another, and we have functioned as if the universe revolves around us. We have strayed from our worship of You and gone our own way. With broken and contrite hearts, we seek Your forgiveness and ask that through Your Holy Spirit you would cause us to truly repent and to mercifully receive Your love. We pray this humbly in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon: Ezekiel 36: 25 – 28
Leader: I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. You will be my people, and I will be your God.

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
