Responsive Call to Worship: Psalm 103: 1 – 4, 17 – 22
Leader: Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
All: Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—
Leader: Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
All: From everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children—with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts.
Leader: The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all.
All: Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will. Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion.
Leader: Praise the Lord, my soul.
Prayer of Adoration
Hymn of Praise: Hymnal #173 Praise Him! Praise Him!
We Confess Our Faith
Responsive Reading: Responsive Reading: Heidelberg 1
Leader: What is your only comfort in life and death?
All: That I am not my own, but belong with body and soul, both in life and in death, to my faithful Saviour Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, and has set me free from all the power of the devil. He also preserves me in such a way that without the will of my heavenly Father not a hair can fall from my head; indeed, all things must work together for my salvation. Therefore, by his Holy Spirit he also assures me of eternal life and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live for him.

We Confess Our Sin
Call to Confession: Ezekiel 14: 6
Silent Confession of Sin
Corporate Prayer of Confession:
All: O God, holy is your wisdom, power, mercy, ways, works; how can I stand before you with my numberless and aggravated offenses? I have often loved darkness, observed lying vanities, forsaken your given mercies, trampled under foot your beloved Son, mocked your providences, flattered you with my lips, and broken your covenant. It is because of your compassion that I am not consumed. Lead me to repentance and save me from despair. Let me come to you renouncing myself, but hoping in the grace that flows even to the chief of sinners. At the cross may I contemplate the evil of sin and abhor it; Look on him whom I pierced as One slain for me and by me. May I never despise his death by fearing its efficacy for my salvation. May my soul rest in you, O Immortal and Transcendent One! Revealed are you in the person and work of your Son, the friend of sinners, our Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be his name. Amen

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
