Responsive Call to Worship: Psalm 148: 11 – 14
Leader: Kings of the earth and all peoples, princes and all rulers of the earth! Young men and maidens together, old men and children! Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his majesty is above earth and heaven.
All: Praise the Lord!
Prayer of Adoration
Hymn of Praise: Hymnal #53 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
We Confess Our Sin
Responsive Call to Confession: Hebrews 7:25, 10: 22 – 23
Leader: Jesus is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
All: Let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who has promised is faithful.
Silent Confession of Sin
Corporate Prayer of Confession: From The Valley of Vision – Resting on God
All: Merciful and gracious God, I come to you as a sinner with cares and sorrows, give me faith to leave every concern entirely to you. My every sin calls for Christ’s precious blood; Revive deep spirituality in my heart; Let me live near to the great Shepherd, hear his voice, know its tones, follow His calls.
Lord, help me, for I am often lukewarm and cold; unbelief often mars my confidence, sin makes me forget you. Let the weeds that grow in my soul be cut at their roots; Grant me to know that I truly live only when I live to thee, that all else is trifling. Thy presence alone can make me holy, devout, strong, and happy. Abide in me, gracious God. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon: Psalm 28: 6 – 7
Leader: Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Hymn of Assurance: Songs of Faith #34 The Lord Is My Salvation

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
