A Moment for Ministry: Women’s Ministry Team
Responsive Call to Worship: Psalm 18: 1-2, 31, 46
Leader: I love you, O Lord, my strength.
All: The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Leader: For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?—
All: The Lord lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation.
Prayer of Adoration
Hymn of Praise: Hymnal #92 A Mighty Fortress Is Our God
We Confess Our Faith
Responsive Reading: The Apostles’ Creed
We Confess Our Sin
Call to Confession: From 1 Peter 2: 24 – 25
Leader: Christ himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds we have been healed. So let us acknowledge our failure and disobedience, and return to the Lord with penitence and faith.
Silent Confession of Sin
Corporate Prayer of Confession:
All: God of mercy, you sent Jesus Christ to seek and save the lost. We confess we have strayed from You. We have turned away from Your way. We are misled by pride for we see ourselves pure when we are stained, and great when we are small. We have failed in Your love, neglected Your justice, and ignored Your truth. Have mercy, O God, and forgive our sin. Return us to paths of His righteousness through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Through Christ we pray. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon: From Zephaniah 3:14-15, 17
Leader: Sing; shout aloud! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart! The LORD has taken away your punishment, he has turned back your enemy. “The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with loud singing.”

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
